Baby Nichols #2 is a....

We are thrilled to announce that we will be adding another sweet little girl to our family! Laikyn will be such a good big sister and I'm excited about matching outfits and double the girl fun! Daddy is already feeling more broke! Ha! It will be such a blessing and we can't wait for her arrival in June!

As for my absence on here, I'm so sorry guys! Having a 19 month old as well as fighting pregnancy every day has been a challenge! I'm finally feeling more normal - like myself - and I am back into the swing of things! Laikyn is getting more verbal and communicates so well now. She's talking in short sentences and blowing me away with amount of knowledge she has daily.  I'm 20 weeks now with baby 2.0 and am really loving feeling her sweet kicks and reminders that she's growing healthy in there. We can't wait for our anatomy scan next week and I'll update when I get some news back.  We're just praying for a healthy baby!

Here's my latest bump picture over at Little Lovelies.

Hey Y'all!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to officially be joining as a Babe Blogger, and introduce myself to y'all.

My name is Sara and I blog over at Little Bits of Us. I am a wife of F O U R years to one seriously amazing man named Austin, and mom to our girls. Austin is in the Navy and I am so blessed to get to be a stay at home mom to our one year old daughter named Lilly. We are also currently expecting our second daughter in late April, who is referred to as Baby P until she arrives and we officially announce her name. The girls will be about 20 months apart and I know I am going to seriously have my hands full; but I am really excited to meet the second little bit growing in my tummy.

Being a military family we just moved from California back to Washington. Washington is home for me, and where Austin and I met, and got married. I am so happy to be back, and in extra exciting news we are in the process of closing on our first home. I am an HGTV addict, and love all things do it yourself. I cant wait to get in this house and start making it our own, and put my touch on it.
When I am not busy taking care of my family, or selling Jamberry, I love to crochet, and create things. I am a very crafty person and always have some sort of project going. As a family we love to get out, whether it just be a bike ride, or taking the ferry to go explore some cute town. We really keep busy, but I feel like 2015 really is our year. Austin and I have some major things happening in our life together and I cant wait to share these major events with y'all.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little, and I will be back soon to share more.

With love,
Sara

Say What?!

Blog mamas!! How has everyone been?? Update me on how your little ones are doing. I'm so sorry that I haven't written in some time. Zoey keeps me on my toes every second she is awake.
Zoey now nods in agreement to statements or as answering yes. She says un-huh, uh-oh, bye bye (with a wave), she understands her name and can say it in her own way (lol). Zoey also understands the word no and yes. She calls me ma-ma and it absolutely melts my heart. She LOVES the phone and pretending to talk on it!
She went for her 12 month check-up and she is a little slow in progressing with her weight and height. Her pediatrician is sending us to an endocrinologist to make sure everything is okay.
I am posting a few update pictures! Hope that you enjoy!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Can you believe it??? It's already 2015! I feel like 2014 had just begun! So much has happened in 2014.

I hope that you all had a very Merry Christmas and had a blast bringing in the new year. If you were anything like me you were struggling to stay awake until midnight.

How did you spend the holidays? This was Zoey's first real Christmas and I'm still recovering from it. After seeing her open her gifts, I realized that she enjoyed the paper and boxes way more.

I wish you all a joyous and prosperous new year!
