Toddler Meal Planning {for the picky toddler}

This is sooo not my favorite topic if I am being completely honest but hey its a necessity because hello, your kid has to eat, ha. Or like my picky little toddler that pretty much refuses to eat! Yes I think I have written on this topic before actually but now that my girl is over 2 I thought I would update our eating dilemma.
For over 6 months now, Harper has just not wanted to eat, like ever. She pretty much sticks to a diet of milk, yogurt, bananas, and cookies and cake pops. Gosh I feel like an awful Mom typing that out but it is the truth. My pedi said that it is just a phase and she will grow out of it but when... To me it feels never ending. Recently we have been trying to actually meal plan for her instead of just giving into her "wants" if that makes sense. We do obviously a breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a few snacks in between but coming up with healthy meals and snacks that my finicky girl will eat is tough!

chocolate chip mini waffles
half a bagel with peanut butter or cream cheese
lots of fruits- berries, bananas, kiwi, grapes, whatever we have at the time
scrambled egg bowls with potatoes, sausage, and cheese
watered down orange juice
and of course we treat ourselves to some donuts and she doesn't ever complain about that breakfast!

hot dogs
mac N cheese
uncrustables or PB&J's
chicken nuggets
fish sticks
fruit or a vegetable but it is extremely rare that she will even touch one
hummus with carrots

usually just whatever I make for us but since she is picky its usually just a lunch item from above
English muffin mini pizzas
rice- she loves just "rice" lol

pirates booty
cheese sticks
fruit snacks

Now this list is just what Harper will actually eat. I wish I could have an awesome super healthy toddler meal 3 times a day but that is just not happening for us so at this point I am happy with whatever she will eat. Sometimes she will refuse to eat anything on her plate even though I know she likes it all but I never force her to eat because I do not want to encourage bad eating habits with her. She will eat when she is hungry and she always proves that too me. Some days she won't eat hardly anything and be happy and content and then the next day she is eating like a champ. She is extremely happy and healthy and that is all I can ask for.
I also try to make meal time a little more fun with pretty plates and cups because I have a character loving lady so that sometimes helps get a few more bites in! I also love having cute girly cups around. Lets just say anything I can put a monogram label on and its good in my books. HA! And you can't forget about cute little mini forks and spoons. She can eat with regular sized ones but the minis are just so much cuter!!

I realize half of these pics she mostly eating "junk" but I guess I never think to myself, "let me capture her eating a hot dog and grapes. LOL. Not as cute right?!
