Who Doesn't Love a Giveaway?

Ever since Kennedy made her debut into the world, I have not been able to find a diaper bag that was both stylish and functional.  I've tried 3 different Vera Bradley bags and a Nena & Co., but none of these were really working for me.   I wanted something that I could stay organized with and that had lots of pockets... Well thank goodness I found Lily Jade Designer Diaper Bags.  Not only does it not look like a diaper bag, it has this amazing removable "baby bag" that has tons of pockets for storage.

I received my bag, which is a Madeline in the color brandy, right before I left for North Carolina for a beach vacation with Kennedy and I was super excited because we were flying.  The Madeline can be used over the shoulder or even made into a backpack, which was super great for flying with an infant.  If you have never done it before, it isn't the easiest thing in the world to because you have a TON of stuff.

I love the fact that it is leather and can easily be wiped off if something were to spill on it and like I mentioned before the removable {washable} baby bag is amazing.  It holds absolutely everything I would ever need for Kennedy and myself.  Oh and I forgot to mention, each bag comes with a changing pad too!

As you can see I keep quite a bit of stuff in my bag, from my iPad to my Sakura Bloom ring sling and sometimes I even have more than this in it.

If you couldn't tell, even Kennedy is super excited and loves our new diaper bag.  I have teamed up with Lily Jade to offer one lucky fan a "baby bag" of their choice {size and color}.  All you have to do is enter with the rafflecopter below.  Good luck!

Teething Blues

Hey y'all! Pardon my absence, the hustle and bustle of family and life has kept my extremely busy. During this time, baby Zoey has been teething and teething makes for a very fussy baby. She's not teething just one, but 4!!! I have been on a search to find her some relief and me as well.

Raw Amber Teething Necklace

I was a very skeptical momma when I heard about teething bracelets and necklaces. How could they possibly work?! I went back and forth for months trying to decide if these things really worked or if it was another baby fad. I asked her Pediatrician and she gave the thumbs up. I reluctantly broke down at my wits end and purchased one. There are so many out there and so many choices. I purchased one from The Art of the Cure. I exposed it to light for 30 minutes and then put it around her neck. She found it intriguing and began to pull on it. That made me uneasy, even with the safety clasp. I then removed it and wrapped it around her wrist for skin to skin contact and so that she wasn't able to pull on it. I am now a believer! It may be all in my head but I believe it works! She's a lot less fussy now. If it is all in my head, it's still a cute accessory!

Hyland Teething Products

There are so many products out there for teething babies. After going through multiple teething rings, I believe we both were ready for a solution. I purchased Hyland's all natural teething gel and teething tablets. I spent countless number of hours researching the tablets. They are dissolvable and easy to use, which eased my worries. I call them my sanity in a bottle! They seem to provide immediate relief! Zoey is a lot less fussy and is able to eat more.

Frozen Binky

A little trick I tried was freezing her binky. This happened on accident. Doing many things at once and I laid her binky in the ice maker. After discovering it was in there, I took it out and gave it to her. She loved it! It was frozen and cool. It provided her some relief. It was a quick, easy, AND free solution!

Kennedy's First MLB Game

Last weekend, the hubby and I celebrated our two year marriage anniversary by going to a St. Louis Cardinals game.

Of course Kennedy had to come along to experience her first baseball game.  Her daddy and her sit and watch the Cards play almost every night when there is a game and she loves baseball time.

We had a blast, even though the redbirds played horribly and we lost.  Kennedy especially liked all the cheering and clapping (she sure does love to clap).  It was so cute because she would start "talking" very loudly when people were rooting and cheering.  I love this girl so much!

We also took her to the St. Louis Zoo and she especially loved looking at all the fish tanks since she could be right up next to them.

We are heading to North Carolina in a couple days and I can't wait to see how she reacts to the beach!!

Until next time.

Current Obsession: Sahnda Marie Kids

As I started this post on Tuesday evening, we had a family emergency where we had to rush our 9 month old daughter, Kennedy, to the emergency room.  All is okay, but I was a complete wreck {I still have not fully recovered}.

So back to my current obsession - Sahnda Marie Kids.

I can't remember how I first discovered her on Instagram but once I saw her amazing little shoes, I just knew I had to get Kennedy a pair.

I just received them in the mail last week and they are adorable and the softest little things I have ever felt!  From what she posted on her Instagram {@sahndamarie} she will be making mommy and me matching shoes soon and I can't wait to own a pair for myself.

They came wrapped in tissue paper with this cute card and even a thank you button with an ice cream cone.  I always love those little "gifts" that come in handmade packages, like the handmade shoes weren't enough, she throws in the ice cream button.  I love it because I can add it to Kennedy's baby book.

There looks to be 35 different combinations of prints and colors for sale on her website.  There are shoes for boys and girls alike, along with gender neutral colors.   These shoes are handmade of high quality fabrics, including organic bamboo cotton velour, organic cotton sherpa, and vegan friendly faux suede.

I adore the bright, fun colors, they can pretty much go with anything and even though it is 95 degrees where I live, these keep Kennedy's feet at just the right temperature.  They don't make her feet uncomfortably hot and since she is starting to pull herself up into a standing position they have the perfect bottoms to prevent her from slipping.

I will definitely be purchasing more of these amazing shoes and like I said earlier I cannot wait until the mommy ones come out.  I love finding quirky pieces of clothing that I can wear and match Kennedy.  Mommy and me outfits are so adorable and you have to do it while they are little because they will eventually grow out of that stage of wanting to match mommy.

Please go check out Sahnda Marie Kids on Instagram and you will not be disappointed.  Thank you to whoever showed me her page.

{This is my personal opinion, I was in no way compensated for this review}

Until next time.
