After the Bundle of Joy.

Hello y'all! I'm a 26 year old stay at home momma to a sweet 6 month old baby girl. I was born and raised in North Carolina. I say "y'all" quite often. Sweet tea is my vice. I have a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Psychology. I am almost finished with graduate school with my focus on eventually becoming a school counselor. I love everything about baby fashion. My baby girl has a collection of bows and shoes. I am a lover of Jesus, southern delights, consignment, and down home cooking.

I'm excited to be a part of this amazing blog. I'm just a stay at home momma with my first baby girl. This allows me to get creative and do tons of fun activities and create awesome recipes!

My baby girl just turned 6 months and I'm still struggling to drop this baby weight. As a true Southern girl, Southern foods are a staple in my household. Fried chicken, sweet tea, greens, and Mac n cheese are table classics.

I am starting to change my eating and creating healthier versions of my Southern favorites! I have challenged myself to 21 days of healthy but great eating. I have cut fried foods and tremendously decreased my sugar intake. Who's with me?!

I have a great recipes for watermelon mint water and much more. I'll be posting some awesome food ideas and recipes.

Watermelon Mint Water

Single serving

1/2 cup of cubed watermelon (frozen)
3-4 mint leaves

Add watermelon and mint to glass and fill with water. The watermelon and mint will last throughout the day so you may refill your glass as much as you would like.
